Need something to guide your life? I highly recommend the Bible, the inspired Word of God. I promise you that as you read it, God's plan for your life will be clear. Be sure to have an open heart and mind as you read. Before, during and after you read, pray and ask God what He wants you to receive from the His Word.

Find a version of the Bible the is easy for you to understand. Some publishers or websites will have several versions side by side, which makes it easy for you to learn from both. I have a Women's Bible that address some of the needs of our spiritual walk and have also used a Teen Bible and Children's Bible to clarify passages.

Quantity is not always quality. Reading for understanding and applying is the important thing with  Bible commentaries and dictionaries as a good aide.  When you find a verse that addresses a need, write it down, keeping a journal of how God speaks to you. Memorizing the verse is a way to always have it in your heart.

Bible study groups are an excellent time to grow from interacting with others in the study of the Word.  Whether the group is studying personalities, themes or specific books in the Bible, a systematic study can also help you make connections that can strengthen your walk with God.

From  its beginning to the end, the Bible contains verses that can guide your life...from  your beginning to  the end. Everyone's life is being guided by someone or something.....what's guiding yours?
